This gorgeous 5-week course is a great introduction to infant massage, where you’ll learn how to massage your baby with confidence in a welcoming, friendly home environment.

There’ll be information each week about all the benefits of baby massage, how to deal with issues such as colic and constipation and the best time and way to massage your baby.

It’s great opportunity to meet and get to know other new parents.

What’s included:

Join us this Sunday for our Father’s Day special, where Daddies will get the chance to spend quality time with their little one, helping parent and baby feel relaxed through a lovely bonding experience. We will learn massage strokes that can help to relieve the discomfort of colic, constipation and teething, and help improve sleep.

In our baby massage classes, we always begin with a gentle ice breaker. One of my favourites is: “What’s one thing you’ve done for yourself recently?”

It’s not to put anyone on the spot—it’s a chance to pause, reflect, and often realise just how little time we’ve had for ourselves. And that honesty is powerful.

This simple question often sparks lovely conversations, a few laughs, and sometimes even the motivation to carve out a little time for self-care, however small.

Because self-care doesn’t have to mean spa days or hours alone (though those are lovely too!). It can be:
• Drinking a hot cup of tea from start to finish
• A solo walk, even just around the block
• Listening to your favourite podcast while feeding
• Saying no to something and not feeling guilty
• A long shower with the good shampoo
• Messaging a friend just to vent or laugh

It’s the little things that can make a big difference. You matter, too.

This gorgeous 5-week course is a great introduction to infant massage, where you’ll learn how to massage your baby with confidence in a welcoming, friendly home environment.

There’ll be information each week about all the benefits of baby massage, how to deal with issues such as colic and constipation and the best time and way to massage your baby.

It’s great opportunity to meet and get to know other new parents.

This is a worry I hear a lot from new parents.

And I get it!

It can feel daunting and even overwhelming dealing with an upset little person outside of the security and comfort of your home when all the tricks you have literally have to fit into your changing bag!

But honestly? It’s absolutely fine — and completely normal.

My classes are totally baby-led, which means feeding, cuddling, crying, wriggling, and napping are all welcome parts of the experience.

As a mum of 3 and an experienced primary school teacher, nothing phases me and I’m very much used to talking over noise!

These sessions are as much for you as they are for your little one — a chance to get out of the house, unwind, and connect with others in the same boat. Whether you manage the full routine or spend the hour soothing your baby, you’re still doing something wonderful for both of you.

This gorgeous 5-week course is a great introduction to infant massage, where you’ll learn how to massage your baby with confidence in a welcoming, friendly home environment.

There’ll be information each week about all the benefits of baby massage, how to deal with issues such as colic and constipation and the best time and way to massage your baby.

What food to start with is a question that parents always ask in my Starting Solids classes.

Mashed, puréed, in sticks the size of your little finger or large food (like this lovely 🍉) is the way to go.

Once your baby is showing signs of being ready, you can offer virtually anything and see how they get on!

🍌 Banana? Yes.
🥦 Broccoli? Go for it.
🍞 Toast soldiers? Why not!

It’s all about safe, age-appropriate prep. We also look at foods to avoid including whole-nuts and honey for babies under 1, and which foods to offer in moderation.

This Saturday we welcomed lots of new faces to our Easter ‘Daddy and Me’ baby massage session. The lovely Natalie from @fairydustandmoonbeamsphotog captured some gorgeous pictures of our daddies with their little ones.

It’s always so lovely seeing Dads connecting and bonding with their little ones. Mums often stay too, meaning that the whole family can get in on the fun!

Booking is now open for Father’s Day ‘Daddy and Me’ special!

Date: Sunday 15th June
Time: 10.00 - 11.30am or 12.00 - 1.30
Venue: Ruislip Guide Hut (near Winston Churchill Theatre)

Daddies will get the chance to spend quality time with their little one, helping parent and baby feel relaxed through a lovely bonding experience. We will learn massage strokes that can help to relieve the discomfort of colic, constipation and teething, and help improve sleep.

Colic is the term used to describe prolonged periods of crying in babies, often for unknown or unexplained reasons.

If your baby cries for long periods of time it can be very stressful. We are wired to respond to our babies’ needs, and it can feel very frustrating if we are unable to calm and soothe them.

Baby massage can be a really helpful tool to deal with colic. Nurturing touch allows your baby to feel safe and secure, so any kind of skin to skin contact will be soothing for your little one.

In week 2 we teach a colic routine, a series of strokes that can help to soothe and relieve the symptoms of colic and help your baby know that you are there.

If you think your baby has colic and you need support, it’s important to reach out to loved ones, friends, or relatives. Talking to other parents who are/have been through the same thing in class can also be really helpful.

April is Caesarean Awareness Month, and with 1 in 3 babies being born via C-section it’s important to get educated, plan for and include your preferences for a Caesarean when writing your birth plan!

Things that you could include/think about:

* Specific songs/playlists to be played as baby is born
* Baby being lifted slowly out of your abdomen
* Lowering the screen to see your baby being born
* Requesting immediate skin to skin
* Electrodes being placed on your back so your baby can be placed on your chest
* Delayed/optimal cord clamping

As with all birth plans, discuss and share your preferences with your health care providers as early as possible to ensure they are able to accommodate your request, and have the opportunity to put things in place to be able to meet your needs.

We discuss options for caesarean birth in my full hypnobirthing course - it’s always a good idea to have a backup plan even if you’re planning a vaginal birth.

I also offer a ‘Hypnobirthing for C-Section’ course which looks specifically at how hypnobirthing techniques can be used for abdominal birth, and how you can plan for a calm and gentle experience.

6 years ago today, my beautiful girl entered the world 💕

Looking back, my induction was long and full of ups and downs, but overall, it was a positive experience. I felt supported, and despite the challenges (hello, epidural nightmare!), I had a quick, smooth birth in the end.

But there’s one thing I wish I’d known back then—hypnobirthing. If I had discovered it, I would have felt so much more confident and in control. I would have asked more questions, understood my options better, and felt calmer throughout the process.

Birth can feel overwhelming, but knowledge is everything. If you’re preparing for your own journey, I promise—understanding your body and your choices makes all the difference!

🐣 Booking is now open for our April ‘Daddy and Me’ baby massage workshop. 🐣

Join us for our Easter special, where Daddies will get the chance to spend quality time with their little one, helping parent and baby feel relaxed through a lovely bonding experience. We will learn massage strokes that can help to relieve the discomfort of colic, constipation and teething, and help improve sleep.

Tickets include refreshments (including pizza), organic cold-pressed oils, and a gorgeous Easter keepsake 🐰

We will also be joined by our maternity and newborn photographer Natalie @fairydustandmoonbeamsphotog who will be offering mini photoshoots to capture those special moments.*

Mummies are of course welcome to join us for this lovely family class.
